This week is a bit of a sweet, personal, treat for me. I am thrilled to share a bit of my personal life with my Paige One family. My husband’s cousin, Kasie Ivicevic, will be walking down the aisle with her fiance, Shawn Zorick, on September 4th. The family couldn’t be more thrilled for her!

Kasie, a salon owner in Escondido CA, met Shawn through her business partner Amanda. Amanda and her mom, Debra, always thought Kasie would be perfect for Amanda’s brother Shawn, and hoped to get them together. Sure enough, the two met and fell in love fast.

Although Shawn loved Kasie more than anything, he made it quite clear to her that he had no intention of getting married. Kasie agreed and envisioned becoming the Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell of their circle of friends. So it came as a complete surprise when he got down on one knee and proposed to her this past winter during a family trip to Tahoe. Their beloved chihuahua, Gigsy, had the ring dangling around his neck. It was the perfect proposal.
