Sometime ago a co-worker of mine, Karen, was so sweet to share her wedding invitation with me. Every invitation is special in it’s own unique way, however, Karen and Karl’s invitation is one I could not resist sharing with you all. They did not pick their invitation out of a book nor was it printed by a printing company — their wedding  invitation was designed and hand drawn especially for them by Karl’s artistically talented mother, Shirley.  Check out every last exquisite and intricate detail she put into the design:

Although it’s beautiful just as it is, Karl’s color savvy sister, Rosie, also took part in customizing the invitations by creating the perfect color palette for the design. She hand colored every single last invitation with her kaleidoscope collection of colored pencils. Have a look at the stunning mini work of art:

Shirley and Rosie did an absolutely gorgeous job! Karen and Karl are so very lucky to have had their family dream up a wedding invitation as amazing as this.

Brides, if you have talented friends or family members, get them involved in designing your invitation. It’s one more detail that will make your wedding that much more special and you will be proud to show this piece off forever!
