Last week, one of the bonuses of being ‘stuck’ in London because of volcano ash was attending the gorgeous and glamorous first ever Luella’s Boudoir Wedding Fair with the very talented photographer, Emily Quinton {thank you, Tiffany Grant-Riley for working your magic and getting me on the list!}. Emily was just beaming at the event, and I figured it was simply because the event was exquisite! A bit later, she whispered to her friend and I that she was going to propose marriage on Friday!
Here’s the story. Emily was photographing her dear friends and also wedding photographers at a very fun vintage shoot, and they ended up turning the camera around on her…
Emily had the photos printed and then placed them out in her beautiful garden for Stef to see…
His answer?
Yesssss!
Come summer 2011, Emily and Stef and their beautiful family will celebrate with a wedding of their own!
CONGRATULATIONS and big hugs from California!

P.S. If you caught that California bit…guess what, I’m home now! At the last minute, I was offered a flight home on Friday, direct to San Francisco. My wonderful friend Erin picked me up at the airport and we whizzed straight down to my wedding near San Luis Obispo, just in time to catch the toasts and the rest of the wedding! The bride and groom, Carley and Matt, were so surprised; it was such a fantastic night! Thank you to our Sonia and Tessa who did a flawless job of setting up and executing the event, and a big congratulations to the gorgeous newlyweds! Photos promised as soon as they’re available– you’ll definitely want to see these!
