We have all seen countless beautiful candy buffet inspiration photos within the past few years. Those of us who have a sweet tooth can never quite get over the colorful creation stations. However, some of you want to design the same nostalgia (for your guests), but without mimicking your best friend’s candy bar buffet display she had at her own wedding.
Think outside the box and create something unique and fun for your own guests. I LOVE what Amy of Eat Drink Chic designed for a Sundae Buffet bar. This self serve buffet display has all the elements that will tickle the taste buds for an out of this world sundae. Amy shares all the do-it-yourself instructions and templates here.
I love these wooden candy box dispensers
Amy’s DIY templates are delightful

These argyle pattern inspired cups would be perfect for root beer floats
Make sure you talk with your wedding coordinator or catering staff before tackling this project. You want to take the weather into account as well as the idea of having someone scoop the ice cream for your guests. By having someone scoop, your buffet line won’t get backed up and you won’t have numerous hands in those large ice cream tubs. The last thing you want is for your guests to work up a sweat scooping and/or getting their forearms messy with melted ice cream.
I scream for Ice Cream!
